TL-FC311B-2 is a media converter with RJ45 gigabit port and SC gigabit fiber optic connector that converts electrical and optical signals. Long-distance data transmission over optical fiber is perfect for commercial scenarios such as Wi-Fi networks or video surveillance in parks.

How the device works

TL-FC311B-2 supports WDM (wavelength division multiplexing) technology, allowing data to be sent and received over a distance of up to 2 km using a single single-mode fiber optic cable, which significantly save on network deployment. The wavelength of the TL-FC311B-2 when transmitting data via optical fiber is 1550 nm, and when receiving data is 1310 nm.
