Media converter TP-Link MC210CS

The TP-Link MC210CS media converter is a media converter that serves to convert a signal and then connect a 1000BASE-LX / LH fiber optic cable to a 1000Base-T twisted pair and vice versa. Designed specifically for IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX / LH standards, the MC210CS media converter is designed for use with single-mode fiber optic cable connected via SC connector. When transmitting and receiving data, the converter works at a wavelength of 1310 nm and belongs to the class of devices that use a long-wave laser (LX) when transmitting at maximum speed.

Among the other functions of this device, it should be noted the possibility of using the media converter as an independent product (the MC210CS does not require a chassis for mounting) or together with a 19'' special TP-LINK chassis with Auto MDI / MDI-X support for the TX port, as well as equipped with LED status indicators. MC210CS allows you to increase the length of the optical fiber (single-mode) channel to a distance of up to 15 km.
