Media converter TP-Link MC110CS

TP-Link MC110CS   – it is a media converter that serves to convert a signal and then connect a 100BASE-FX fiber optic cable to a 100Base-TX twisted pair and vice versa. Designed specifically for IEEE 802.3 u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, the MC110CS media converter is intended for use with single-mode fiber optic cable connected via SC connector. When transmitting and receiving data, the converter works at a wavelength of 1310 nm and belongs to the class of devices that use a long-wave laser (LX) for transmission at the maximum speed.

Among other functions of this device, it should be noted the possibility of using the media converter as an independent product (the MC110CS does not require a mounting chassis) or together with 19 TP-LINK chassis with support for Auto MDI/MDI-X, automatic negotiation in duplex mode for the TX port, as well as equipped with LED status indicators. MC110CS allows you to increase the length of the fiber optic channel by a distance of up to 20 km thanks to the use of a single-mode optical cable.
