ACOSJ Java Card (Contact) is a Java contact card developed by Advanced Card Systems Ltd. The main advantage of Java cards is the possibility of writing almost any applications for it.

Java cards consist of several components: a microprocessor or memory (EEPROM) of a smart card, a Java virtual machine. This is a mini operating system that is present on the card. It provides access to the card's memory, execution of applets installed on it, data protection.
