EM-Marine 1.8mm Clamshell Smart Card (Original EM4200 chip) (01-029)

The EM-Marine contactless plastic card works at a distance of up to 10 cm from the reader, has a thickness of 1.8 mm and is the most common on the Ukrainian smart card market due to its convenience and ease of use. The card has a small unique UID code, which is recognized and identified by the reader, but does not have a rewriting function.

The EM-Marine smart card is passive, does not have a built-in power source - such cards have an almost unlimited number of reading cycles. High wear resistance and long service life at a low price makes it the leader of the smart card market. The recognition mechanism is based on proximity technology - contactless remote radio frequency reading technology. Once within the range of the reader's radio signal, the card sends back a signal in which its unique identification code is recorded.

The card has an increased thickness and has a slot for attaching a badge.
