The twisted pair splitter is designed to use one physical transmission medium (one 4-pair cable) simultaneously and independently of each other by two devices that use the 100BASE-T Ethernet standard. The splitter is equipped with an RJ-45 connector on one side, and two RJ-45 ports on the other side. As a rule, they are used in pairs.
