Splitter D-Link DSL-30CF
The DSL-30CF splitter is required when using one telephone line for voice and data transmission (ADSL). ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, Annex A, L, M standards are supported. The DSL splitter separates the voice signal frequencies (0.3 - 3.4 kHz) from the frequencies used by the ADSL modem (26 kHz - 1.4 MHz). In this way, the mutual influence of the modem and the telephone is excluded. Outside is a small box with three RJ-11 connectors: 1) "Line" (included); 2) "Phone" (coming out); 3) "ADSL" (outgoing). Allows an ADSL modem and a telephone/fax machine to work on the same telephone line independently of each other and at the same time.
In some cases, instead of a splitter, a microfilter installed on the client's side at the connection point of an analog telephone or fax machine can be used. There are also connection schemes where splitters and microfilters are simultaneously used to connect edge devices.
