The Chinese corporation Hikvision is a well-known manufacturer of security alarm and video surveillance products. Using the latest technologies, video recorder DS-7608NI-K2-8P serves IP cameras on 8 channels at the same time.

Video and audio signals compressed by H. 265, H. 264 or MPEG4 codecs are transmitted over the line in a double stream. Negotiations take place over a duplex communication channel using 1 RCA audio input. Data is recorded in two streams with the highest resolution of 8MP. With a resolution of 1080P, video playback from 8 cameras is allowed at the same time.

Output connectors for connecting a VGA and HDMI monitor, 1 RCA audio output. Hard drives up to 6 TB each can be connected to 2 SATA ports. Data is stored on the HDD, on a USB device or over the network. Networking is likely to support 1 x RJ45 10M/100M/1000M. There are also connectors 1×USB2.0, 1×USB3.0, 4×alarm inputs, 1×alarm output.

Power supply: AC 100~240V and power consumption ≤15 W (without HDD) or for all cameras using RoE technology. The plastic body in black color with dimensions of 385x315x52 mm and weight of 3 kg is suitable for installation in a rack.
