Hikvision's latest development for medium-sized facilities is the 16-channel network video recorder DS-7616NI-I2, which works with advanced IP video cameras at a high bandwidth of up to 12 megapixels. At the same time, the saving speed is 256 Mbit/s. With the same resolution, information is reproduced on 4 channels or on 16 channels in 1080P format.

Device settings are performed using the on-screen menu, which can be moved directly with the mouse, as well as remotely via the Ethernet network (10/100/1000 Mb/s). Successful compatibility of the model with the equipment of various well-known manufacturers is acceptable.

Archive data files from the cameras are stored on two 12 TB hard drives, included in the internal SATA ports, as well as on external media via 2 USB connectors (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0) or a network connector. Communication with a computer or keyboard takes place via the RS232 port, and HDMI and VGA video outputs are required for interaction with a video receiver. Two-way speakerphone works on the basis of RCA input connectors, there is also 1 RCA audio output. Alarm inputs/outputs are provided for executive equipment - 4/1.
