BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT Overwatch game (139741791)

Overwatch is actually a reworked Titan project that was supposedly canceled some time ago. Developed by the Titan team led by Jeffrey Kaplan, one of the main developers of World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade, the game is very accurate to Titan's origins, and some of the available game art dates back to 2009. Additionally, the use of Titan foundations to create Overwatch has been confirmed by Chris Metzen himself. Roughly speaking, we can say that we still waited for the announcement of Titan. However, Overwatch has two important differences: the developers decided to abandon the social game and MMO elements, focusing on the PvP component, and the gameplay itself is not based on classes, but on specific heroes with their own stories and characters.

Since the game is based on past work, Overwatch is in a relatively late stage of development: already at BlizzCon 2014 visitors can play an early version of the game and share their feedback with the developers, and beta testing will begin, as mentioned above, in 2015. In addition, Blizzard released a rather long gameplay video, which demonstrates the 12 heroes available in the current version of Overwatch, and on the official website, descriptions of the background and game mechanics for each of them are already available. In the future, the number of heroes will be significantly increased.

Blizzard Entertainment (Blizzard for short) is an American developer and publisher of computer games. The company was founded in 1991 by three graduates of the University of California, Los Angeles: Allen Adam, Frank Pierce and Mike Morheim. It was previously called Silicon & Synapse then Chaos Studios and later became a publishing division of Activision Blizzard. Blizzard Entertainment is headquartered in Irvine, California.

At first, the company was focused on developing ported versions of games for other studios. She then began creating her own software, and in 1993 began developing games such as Rock n' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. After the release of Warcraft in 1995, the studio Silicon & Synapse has become one of the most successful worldwide. Then came the creation of new computer games, including the sequels Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, as well as the multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft.

On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, resulting in the Blizzard brand becoming a holding company. On July 25, 2013, Activision Blizzard announced the purchase of 429 million shares of Vivendi, making it an independent company.

In the history of the company, it happened that the release of games was greatly delayed due to the fact that the developers, wanting to improve the quality of the game, continued its refinement and testing [1]. However, many Blizzard fans believe that there is no evil without good, as Blizzard has a reputation for creating classic games that sell for years after release. Since 2005, Blizzard has held the annual BlizzCon exhibition in California, where new games and applications are traditionally announced.
