The output power of up to 1300 mW perfectly helps in solving the problem of the "last mile" in difficult conditions. Metal comes with the fourth level of software license, which allows the device to work as an access point, so it is enough to simply connect the selected antenna to it and use it in the necessary scenario: an access point, a powerful client or a Point-to-Point bridge. The delivery package includes an omnidirectional dual-band antenna with a gain of 6dBi at 2.4 GHz and 8dBi at 5GHz. The gigabit network port allows you to get a bandwidth of more than 100 Mbit/s. Power is supplied to the device via a network cable using a PoE injector. In ideal conditions (an open area without visible obstacles), the Metal 52ac can cover a wireless network of up to 900 m2. The N-type connector for the antenna is located on the end of the device, opposite the sealed cover, under which the interface for the twisted pair cable is located. Fasteners securely press the lid, completely excluding moisture from getting inside. The level of the Wi-Fi signal and power is displayed on the panel using LED indicators. The cooling system of the device should also be noted separately. The router's intelligent self-monitoring system does not allow the processor temperature to exceed the set limits even by half a degree.
