The M2 Pro is available in black and silver. Its extra mass helps to effectively cool the chips, ensuring fast cooling and reliable operation of M.2 solid-state drives. Thanks to its slim design, it is compatible with PlayStation 5 and provides optimal cooling for upgraded SSD hard drives. It can be installed without screws or rubber bands thanks to the intelligent click system.
Effective heat dissipation
Thanks to the additional mass, the Arctic M2 Pro effectively removes heat from the chips and transfers it to the environment, which helps to cool the solid-state drive and cool it quickly. Measurements were made at an air temperature inside the case of 25 °C. Without a heat sink, thermal throttling may occur at higher temperatures.
PS5 Compatible M.2 SSD Cooling
PlayStation 5 can be expanded by installing a fast M.2 SSD. In the manual, Sony clearly emphasizes that this M.2 drive requires a heatsink. The Arctic M2 Pro meets these requirements and is therefore suitable for installation in the PS5 and PS5 Slim.
TP-3 thermal pads included
The M2 Pro uses two precisely cut Arctic TP-3 thermal pads. Due to their softness, they are ideal as thermal pads for M.2 solid-state drives, as they optimally adapt to the height difference of heat-emitting components. In addition, the TP-3 has excellent thermal conductivity, easy to circulate and safe to use.
Easy installation for single and double-sided solid state drives
No screws or rubber bands are required to install the Arctic M2 Pro. Instead, the solid-state drive clicks into place between the heatsinks. The NVMe SSD cooler is designed for both single-sided and double-sided 2280 M.2 solid-state drives. The difference in height is compensated by the included thermal pad.
