MC200CM is a media converter used for signal conversion and subsequent connection of a 1000BASE-SX fiber optic cable to a 1000Base-T twisted pair and vice versa. Designed specifically for IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX standards, the MC200CM media converter is designed for use with multimode fiber optic cable connected via SC connector. When transmitting and receiving data, the converter operates at a wavelength of 850 nm and belongs to the class of devices that use a short-wave laser (SX) during transmission at the maximum speed. Among other functions of this device, it should be noted the possibility of using the media converter as an independent product (for the MC200CM, no mounting chassis is required) or together with a 19'' special TP-LINK chassis with support for Auto MDI/MDI-X for the port TX, as well as equipped with LED status indicators. MC200CM allows you to increase the length of the fiber optic channel by a distance of up to 0.55 km.
