The HP 2100/2200, M3035 / 3027, P3005 / 3015 EVERPRINT primary charging shaft (EVP-PCRH2100) is a metal shaft enclosed in a rubber shell. They have a different structure of the rubber layer. The main task of this part is to charge the photo drum with a uniform negative charge. In some cartridges, the shaft performs the function of a kind of wiper - it cleans the photo drum from toner residues and paper dust.
