Ubiquiti LTU-Rocket Wi-Fi access point

Ubiquiti introduces the LTU Rocket, the first Base-Station Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) radio in the LTU product family. Operating in the 5GHz frequency band, the LTU Rocket is a spectrum-efficient, noise-tolerant PtMP access point specifically designed for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs).

Great performance

LTU is a new, patented technology with a custom design that overcomes the limitations of 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. This allows LTU to deliver significantly higher performance than previous 802.11 Wi-Fi based AirMAX products.

LTU Rocket is designed for WISP. Its core communications processor provides low latency, long-range capability, DFS flexibility, better output power, and improved receive sensitivity.

The LTU Rocket is designed to pair with a variety of Ubiquiti antennas to meet the needs of each installation. The kit includes a mounting bracket that allows the access point to be used with an airMAX 5 GHz sector antenna or an airMAX Omni antenna for the included PtMP 5 GHz base station. You can even connect three Rocket LTUs with the airPrism 5 GHz 3x30 ° HD sector antenna for co-location.
