Ubiquiti GBE-LR Wi-Fi access point

GigaBeam Long Range (GBE-LR) - an access point for creating a 60 GHz radio bridge, which allows you to create gigabit links over long distances of up to 2 km. The novelty has a new case design, which in its design is very similar to the well-known LHG from Mikrotik - LHG 60 (RBLHGG-60ad).

The main feature compared to the usual GigaBeam (GBE) is, of course, the design of the antenna, which directly affects the range of the point. GBE-LR has 2 times higher gain - 38 dBi versus 17.2 dBi. The GigaBeam Long Range radio bridge from two points can work at a distance of up to 2 km. It is about the same as in the Mikrotik Wireless Wire Dish (RBLHGG-60ad kit), but still the GBE-LR has a significant advantage - a spare 5 GHz channel.
