Thermal film is a part of the printer, necessary so that the image applied with toner is fixed on the paper, and not sprinkled when the sheet comes out of the printing device. Although this part is called a film, in shape it is a cylinder, which is made of plastic resistant to high temperatures. Taking into account the fact that during printing, the fixing temperature reaches 2200C, increased requirements for heat resistance are imposed on plastic.

We advise you to change the thermal film if you notice the following: during printing, the printer starts to crackle or rustle, the paper keeps getting stuck in the oven, the print comes out smeared, fuzzy or with extraneous dots and dirt. Even if you notice at least one of the above, you should stop the printer before replacing the thermal film.
