The main information about the product can travel with it on the package and at one moment be entered into the computer using the ICS-5190 wired 1D code scanner with a USB interface from the Proton company. When working with the scanner, two of the most popular connection interfaces are used: USB HID (keyboard break emulation) and USB-COM (COM port emulation), which ensures uninterrupted data transfer and error-free integration into the main device.

Thanks to rubberized inserts in the case, a protected scanning module and a scratch-resistant window, the scanner can withstand a fall from a height of 1.5 meters. And the degree of general protection against the environment IP41 allows it to be used both in dusty rooms and under light rain.

Using the new FuzzyScan 3.0 scanning technology, the ICS-5190 easily reads low-contrast, damaged, dirty and poorly pressed barcodes with a minimum contrast of 20%. Thanks to the extended scanning range, you can easily read 100% UPC/EAN barcodes from a distance of more than 40 cm, 20 mil Code 39 codes from more than 60 cm. Sufficient scanning speed: up to 300 scans per second, allows you not to reduce work productivity.

In addition to the presentation scanning mode, the scanner has the function of automatic detection of objects (barcodes). The large angle of activity of the photocell allows you to speed up the reading process, without being distracted by searching for the desired position of the product relative to the scanner. When the code falls within the coverage area of ​​the scanning module, the scanner exits the energy-saving mode and automatically scans the barcode. It is worth noting the presence of additional autonomous modes of operation, in which the ICS-5190 performs scanning in pulsating mode, in the mode of constant activity of the scanning module and in the automatic shutdown mode.
