SurgeArrest components, such as metal-oxide varistors and fuses, guarantee instant response to voltage surges caused by lightning strikes and wiring faults. If, as a result of a surge or increase in voltage, the surge suppression circuits are damaged, the load power circuit is broken - so that no power grid problems can harm it.

One of the functions of the network filter is the protection of data transmission lines (coaxial and telephone lines), the device provides full protection of equipment against impulse surges. The SurgeArrest mains filter is equipped with an LED, which signals damage to the internal circuits as a result of a strong lightning strike or as a result of the impact of impulse overvoltage in the power network, as well as if the filter cannot provide 100 percent protection.
