The Posiflex SL-105Z mounted model is designed for reading information contained on a plastic magnetic card of ISO 7811 format. This reader model can be installed on Posiflex POS monitors of the LM/TM-3000 series: LM/TM-3015, LM/TM-3115, LM/TM-3315, communication with the monitor is carried out using the USB interface, connection to an external power source is not required.

The SL-105Z reader, like similar devices for POS terminals (SA-104Z, SA-105Z-B), decodes one, two and three tracks provided by the ISO standard. The model of bidirectional action, that is, the direction of reading the magnetic stripe is successfully carried out in both directions. The SL-105Z is designed specifically for point-of-sale applications where space is at a premium. It has a narrow profile and looks organically with both traditional POS monitors and frameless models.
