Polymer standard silver ribbon for Evolis Zenius and Primacy series printers. Monochrome tapes are made on the basis of a special synthetic resin and provide high-quality printing of text, graphic objects and all types of barcodes, including those visible in infrared light. A special coating on the reverse side of the tape protects the printed thermal head from premature wear, protecting it from dirt and removing static tension.

In monochrome printing, sublimation printers use the same thermal print heads as in full-color printing, the only difference is that the image on the plastic card is formed by dots of one color, and not in the form of a combination of 16 million shades collected from three color panels of the printed ribbon.
