The frequency of the processor is not automatically increased, the possibility of overclocking is also absent - the multiplier is blocked. The 14-nm Zen cores of the Athlon 200GE processor have 192 KB of first-level cache, 1 MB of second-level cache, and 4 MB of third-level cache.

The lowest power consumption and the lowest heat generation among all models on the Zen architecture have also become distinctive features of the budget model. The nominal TDP of the novelty was 35 Watts, which can be handled by any of their existing cooling devices for the AM4 socket. With RAM, the processor operates at a frequency of 2667 MHz on two channels. The new model is compatible with all AM4 socket motherboards: both the 300 series and the 400 series. At the same time, Athlon 200GE retains the full functionality of older processors, including work with solid-state drives via NVMe, USB 3.1 Gen 2, output of graphics in 4K at 60 Hz via HDMI or DisplayPort, and so on.
