Godex ZX420i label printer (14114)

The Godex ZX420i label printer (14114) is designed for printing labels with a width of up to 108 mm, with a printing speed of 152 m / s. The body and printing mechanism of the printer are made of metal. The printer is equipped with a print head with a resolution of 203 dpi (8 dots / mm), but if desired, if necessary, the head can be installed with a different resolution, they are interchangeable.

The printer uses double buffering: while one label is being printed, the next one is already loaded into the printer's memory. This gives a significant advantage in the speed of printing labels through the driver using a job queue. In the Godex ZX420i printer, it is possible to use an ink ribbon up to 450 meters long, while the direction of winding the ribbon does not matter: it is possible to load the ribbon into the printer both ink out (inking layer on the outside) and ink in (inking layer on the inside).

The design of the printing mechanism is equipped with simple adjustments of the printing line, as well as the distribution of pressure on the head, which allows to avoid distortions of the dyeing tape when printing both narrow and wide labels. A special "brush" is designed to remove static electricity from the dyeing ribbon - protection from sticking of the ribbon to the labels during the printing process.

The printer is equipped with 2 types of label edge sensor - "on reflection" and "on clearance". The combination of these sensors allows the use of labels with any density of the substrate, as well as labels with a "black mark". The position of the sensor can be adjusted when using labels of irregular geometry or tape in several streams. Before using the printer, it is necessary to run the calibration process to determine the size of the labels loaded into it. To do this, press the corresponding button on the back of the printer.

The Godex ZX420i label printer (14114) is fully Russified and has built-in Russian fonts. It is possible to load any custom fonts and label layouts into the printer's memory for further printing.
