Cablexpert 5m (PP12-5M/Y) is an unshielded Category 5 U/UTP patch cord with 8 pin RJ45 modular plugs designed for switching in a distribution center or workplace. The contacts of the RJ45 modular plug are covered with a layer of gold 50 microinches thick. The result is excellent transmission parameters, long-term corrosion resistance from moisture and extreme temperatures; durability - at least 750 cycles of the plug/socket connection. Cablexpert 5m patch cord (PP12-5M/Y) is Category 5, which means it is a 4-pair cable with a frequency band of 100 MHz, used for building local area networks and for laying telephone lines, and supports data transfer rates of up to 100 Mbps when using 2 pairs.
