The Kingston Data Center 1000B Series SEDC1000BM8 solid state drive is an industrial SSD designed to be used primarily as a bootable drive in servers equipped with one or two M. 2 NVMe slots dedicated to bootable SSDs, thus not wasting valuable 2.5-inch front-mount drive bays, leaving them to store working data.

DC1000B is a high-performance M.2 2280 solid-state NVMe drive with a PCIe Gen 3.0x4 interface, built using 3D TLC NAND flash memory. The DC1000B is a cost-effective solution for data centers that can be sure of having a solid state drive designed for use in a server environment. Optimal for use as an internal boot drive in high-density servers and dedicated systems that require a high-performance M.2 SSD, the DC1000B is equipped with built-in power loss protection (PLP) and is designed with industrial-grade performance requirements in mind for stable performance and low response times not typically found in client SSDs.
