The monitor is equipped with an LCD panel with energy-saving LED lighting. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and wide viewing angles (178⁰). The typical brightness value is 300 cd / m2, and the contrast ratio is 1000: 1.

The included ergonomic stand allows you to choose the most comfortable position of the monitor. The height of the monitor is adjustable by 131 mm, the angle of inclination away from itself is 35⁰, the angle of inclination towards itself is 5⁰, the screen can be rotated by 344⁰. Depending on the tasks to be solved, the user can work in both standard (horizontal) and portrait (vertical) mode.

The LED-based brightness control scheme used by standard monitors often results in image flickering. The FlexScan EV2430 monitor implements hybrid brightness control technology that eliminates screen flickering and at the same time preserves color stability. In addition, in low light conditions, the monitor can be set to a brightness level of only 1 cd / m2, which is less than 1% of the maximum possible value.

To prevent eye fatigue, the monitor features an Auto EcoView brightness level sensor that detects changes in ambient light that occur during the day and automatically adjusts the monitor to the optimal brightness level, while the motion-sensing presence sensor EcoView Sense puts the monitor into energy-saving mode when the user leaves the workplace and restores the standard mode when the user returns. When working in standby mode, the power consumption of the monitor is only 12 W.

Another important feature of the FlexScan EV2430 is the presence of the "Paper Mode" mode, which allows you to reduce the color temperature of the monitor and thereby create the effect of a printed document, which significantly reduces eye strain when reading and working with texts.

Additional features: 24-pin DisplayPort, DVI-D connector and 15-pin D-Sub-mini connector. USB hub with one upstream and two downstream ports. Built-in speakers with a power of 1 W and a 3.5 mm audio input for headphones. Preset modes are sRGB, "Movie", "Paper" and two custom home screen modes. Zero power consumption in power-off mode. Compliance with the international standard of energy efficiency Energy Star and electrical safety TSO 7.
