Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 RGB 8 GB RAM module KF426C16BB / 8 is designed to expand memory and improve the performance of modern PCs in the tasks of high-resolution video editing, rendering and games. Equipped with a black radiator with RGB illumination, the single-lane DDR4-2666 CL16 KF426C16BB / 8 module is compatible with all modern platforms that support DDR4. In addition to the standard JEDEC profile (DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 1.2 V), the module is equipped with an XMP 2.0 profile (DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 1.2 V).

The LED line on the upper edge of the entire memory module can be controlled by the Kingston FURY CTRL proprietary software, as well as the specialized software that comes with the motherboard, that support the management of light effects: ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Light Sync. When Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 RGB memory modules are installed in a board that does not support control, the wave-like backlight mode is activated, in which waves of backlight color change cycle along the glowing line.

In order to avoid desynchronization of dynamic light effects in Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 RGB memory, backlight synchronization technology is applied with the transmission of control signals via an infrared channel - all modules, installed in the motherboard next to each other, now overflow synchronously, regardless of the presence or absence of external control. Such a decision made it possible to preserve the integrity of the modder PC design and to avoid the use of additional wires. The backlight is powered directly from the memory slot.

Support for PnP (Plug'n'Play) technology allows the system to automatically set the maximum memory frequency supported by all components (different processors and chipsets can support a wide range of possible frequencies, the maximum available frequency for a specific system is usually determined by the BIOS algorithms of the motherboard manufacturer), and the presence of XMP profiles will help to quickly configure memory on motherboards that do not support PnP.
