Mod Mosaic shielded socket inserts PowerCat 6A are compatible with seats with face plates 45 x 45 mm manufactured by Legrand. The insert has an angular design that increases the bending radius of the linear cable and the cable of the switching cord included in its outlet. To mark individual ports, you can apply color coding with the help of the corresponding icons, which significantly increases the efficiency of cable system administration.

Mod Mosaic PowerCat 6A shielded socket insert is implemented using a unique shielded socket module of the DataGate™ type. These products effectively suppress inter-cable transient interference (the so-called Alien crosstalk module) and ensure minimal losses at connections, as well as provide excellent protection of the transmitted signal from external electromagnetic influences. The specified properties are obtained thanks to the use of a new cover of the outlet module, made by the method of pressure casting from zinc alloy. Each outlet is equipped with a unique spring-loaded protective door, which not only prevents dust and other dirt from entering the socket, but also pushes out the plug of the switching cord if it is incorrectly connected. 

The shielded terminal of the plug-in socket module is equipped with double color marking, which during the cable connection process makes it possible to lay out the wires according to schemes 568A and 568B. The DataGate PowerCat 6A shielded socket module is backward compatible with shielded systems of categories 6 and 5e.

In order to ensure the highest possible throughput of the cable system, Molex Premise Networks recommends using exclusively shielded components of the PowerCat 6A series during its construction.

The cable system implemented on their basis fully meets the requirements of the latest ISO/IEC 11801 A1.1 and TIA/EIA 568-B standards. 2-10 regarding support for the operation of 10G BASE-T networks.
