The AKG WMS40 Mini2 Vocal Set BD ISM2 / 3 EU / US / UK radio system (660.700 & 662.300) is a radio microphone set consisting of an AKG HT40 vocal hand microphone (aka transmitter) and an AKG SR40 compact base (receiver). The AKG WMS 40 MINI VOCAL SET radio system provides excellent sound and ease of use. Excellent sound quality is guaranteed thanks to the use of the unique HDAP (High Performance Definition Audio) technology - which provides the best sound and the most realistic sound in any conditions.

The base (receiver) AKG SR40 has three LEDs that indicate: power status: on / off and signal (RF OK), as well as audio clipping (AF CLIP). The base connects to the mixer using a 6.3 Jack connector, and the power supply for the receiver is equipped with a switch for 110 or 240 V AC.

The AKG HT40 handheld microphone is durable enough to handle daily use and protect the internal electronics from accidental drops. It has a switch that has 3 ON/OFF/MUTE positions, which is very convenient for everyday work. The microphone membrane is reliably protected by a metal mesh. Another plus is the unique, for such a radio system, operating time from ONE AA battery - up to 30 hours.
