Microphone AKG D40
The AKG D40 does an equally good job of capturing the sound vibrations of percussion/wind instruments such as: snare drum, tomo-te, timpani, bongo, conga, trumpet, saxophone, etc. In addition, the microphone is successfully used with a guitar amplifier.
Dynamic microphone with cardioid pattern. It has an excellent frequency response of 50-20000 Hz with a maximum SPL of up to 156 dB.
The lightweight all-metal body is equipped with a movable bracket for adjusting the position up to 135°, which provides more opportunities when placed near musical instruments in order to optimize the location of the device, providing better sound quality and convenience when performing songs. The microphone is mounted on a microphone stand with a 5/8 inch thread. Acoustic connector - balanced XLR (male).
A strong and reliable mesh protects the dynamic head from damage during a concert performance, during which the equipment sometimes falls or is hit.
A pop filter and a wind screen are placed inside to cut off unwanted effects of the performer's breathing.
