Mikrotik RB2011IL-RM router

Routerboard RB2011iL-RM is a budget version of a stable 10-port Ethernet router from Mikrotik. The "lightness" of the model is indicated by the index L in the name, nevertheless, the router has the entire set of functionality for building a high-speed wireless network at a cost significantly lower than the RB2011UiAS-RM.

RB2011iL-RM parameters:

• standard height 1U for installation in a rack;
• 64 MB RAM;
• 5 Gigabit ports;
• 5 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s ports;
• power supply – adapter 24 V/0.8 A (included in the package) or PoE (not 802.3 af) – 1 port;
• Mikrotik RouterOS management L4.

The main advantage and difference of RB2011iL from the previous version of RouterBoard RB2011L-RM is the presence of a PoE output on the 10th port, which has a characteristic yellow marking. 

Router functionality:

The operating system supports dynamic routing, hotspot, firewall, QoS and many other features, allowing you to set up a secure, productive network in real time. The configuration is carried out through a browser, ports 2-10 have default IP addresses of 192.168.88.1, Ether1 port is pre-configured for Internet connection from the provider (DHCP client).

External configuration:

The external appearance repeats the RM-models of the RB2011 line - a black rectangular case with mounting brackets. On the front panel there are two groups of RJ45 ports - gigabit on the left, 100 Mbit/s on the right, between them are two rows of LED indicators of network activity of each port. The device operation and power indicators are located on the left.
On the back are the power connector and the Reset button for resetting the settings to factory settings.
