The Noctua NH-D15 processor cooler is an excellent choice to meet the highest demands. Compared to a conventional processor cooler, six heat pipes are used, and the double radiator design provides a large ventilated surface area, better heat distribution and excellent airflow efficiency when using two fans. With a slot on the bottom of the heatsink, the NH-D15 provides 64mm of clearance for tall RAM heatsinks in single-fan mode, making it compatible with most massive memory sticks on the market. When using two fans, the NH-D15 must be used with standard height memory modules (up to 32 mm). The cooler has two 140mm premium fans. Adhering to the AAO standard, Noctua's sophisticated aerodynamic design and Flow Acceleration Channels quickly built a reputation as one of the best 140mm fans on the market.
Premium fans feature PWM support for convenient automatic speed control. In addition, the maximum fan speed can be reduced from 1500 to 1200 rpm with the included adapter for even quieter operation. Due to the design features of the radiator, the large NH-D15 fans blow not only the radiator itself, but also circulate air over the adjacent components of the motherboard, thus providing an excellent cooling effect. Noctua SecuFirm2 mounting systems have become synonymous with quality, safety and ease of use. Intel LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156), LGA2011 and AMD (AM3 (+), AM2 (+), FM1, FM2 (+)) support. SecuFirm2 guarantees maximum ease of use. When using the optional NM-I3 mounting kit, the NH-D15 can be compatible with LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets.
