What is an access controller and why is it needed? An access controller is a device used to control access through controlled access points. This is done by processing user IDs that are read using a reader. Controllers are able to independently decide whether to grant access or not if user IDs are stored in its memory. The controller is made in white color and has a case with IP44 degree of protection. There is an Ethernet network port, as well as a Web interface for controlling the device and viewing the history of events. Among the useful functions and capabilities, it is worth noting fire unlocking and non-volatile memory.
All the necessary software is included in the set to configure the device. It has quite a lot of features and capabilities, including: the ability to have an unlimited number of remote workstations and connectable controllers, a graphic plans module.
