Ask only 1 switch from an uninterruptible power supply, thus you provide uninterrupted power for all connected devices.

EdgeSwitch supports IEEE 802.3af / at PoE / PoE + auto-detection, as well as manual selection of 24V Passive PoE, which allows you to use one device for all tasks. The device is equipped with a 150 W power supply unit, with a maximum own power consumption of up to 20 W. All the remaining power can be distributed between 8 interfaces.

In terms of ports, a limit of 34.2 and 17 W is set for the PoE + and Passive PoE standards, respectively. If needed, the ES-8-150 can power any corporate UniFi wireless access point or VoIP IP phone. The presence of an SFP slot allows you to switch to the network (Fiber Uplink) using an optical fiber. Using a fiber optic cable allows you to remove the limit on the maximum range and connect the device at a considerable distance. In addition, the optical fiber is not susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic interference and static discharge.

When paired with support for PoE technology, the ES-8-150W can be used as an element of a small base station if necessary. Performance EdgeSwitch is able to process traffic simultaneously on all network interfaces (with line rate) without losing packets with a non-blocking bandwidth of 10 Gbit and 14.88 Mpps. The EdgeSwitch management interface is powered by EdgeMAX specialized software. The switch settings can be accessed both through the WebUI and through the CLI using SSH.
