The new Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch-24-250W switch from Ubiquiti has 24 Gb ports and can distribute PoE power to devices, which makes it easier to organize a network based on the EdgeSwitch 24-250W from Wi-Fi access points or IP video cameras with the ability to receive power using PoE technology. The number of ports in the amount of 24 pieces will allow you to create a large network, and the SFP ports are connected to fiber optic networks.
For a network based on the EdgeSwitch-24-250W switch, there is no need for power supplies, because each of the 24 ports can distribute PoE power with a power of up to 27 watts. That is, having selected the necessary equipment that can be "powered" by an Ethernet cable, you do not need to connect separate wires for power.
The total bandwidth of the ES-24-250W is 26 Gb per second. This is enough to ensure the operation of a medium-sized office even with a very active file sharing process, namely video and photo materials.
ESwitch-24-250W is configured and managed easily and simply using the proprietary EdgeOS. Choose the most appropriate settings and, if necessary, set PoE power for each individual port.
