Ubiquiti ES-16XP network switch is a high-performance switch that is perfect for distributing traffic in busy networks. Thanks to the modern and powerful computing part, Ubiquit EdgeSwitch 16XP will be an excellent solution for medium-sized enterprises when PoE power supply is required.

The switch received 8 gigabit Ethernet ports, on each of which it is possible to organize PoE power distribution 24 \ 48 v. The maximum power transmitted by subscriber equipment on each port reaches 23 W at a voltage of 48 V and up to 11.5 W at a voltage of 24 V.

The total power provided by the Ubiquit EdgeSwitch 8 XP reaches 145 pN. The switch is powered by a built-in power supply unit connected to a 110/220 v AC network. In addition to 8 Ethernet ports, the Ubiquit EdgeSwitch 8 XP also has a USB 2.0 port reserved for future use and a console port for access to the management interface.

Like any other Ubiquiti switch, EdgeSwitch 8 XP has a proprietary port status light indicator system, which allows you to determine the presence or absence of power distribution, as well as the speed of the established connection. To do this, you should pay attention to the LEDs located at the top of each port.

The left one is responsible for the PoE indication, with a yellow glow, the power supply sounds with a voltage of 48 V (PoE 48), the green color of the LED indicates a voltage of 24 V (PoE 24), and the absence of light means that the power is not supplied. The LED located on the right informs about the connection speed. Glowing yellow means the line is working according to the 10/100 standard, and green means a gigabit link.

The switch received a MIPS 24K processor with a frequency of 400 MHz and works with 64 MB of RAM, which is quite enough to ensure smooth operation of EdgeSwitch 8 XP. The body of the lamp is metal, the placement of the device can be either wall-mounted or tabletop according to the user's choice.
