Ubiquiti ES-10XP network switch

The Ubiquiti ES-10XP network switch is a high-performance switch used to deploy Ethernet networks in offices with a planned high load. Due to PoE support, the switch will be an excellent solution for organizing video surveillance or for switching traffic between Wi-Fi access points.

To connect subscriber equipment and distribute traffic, EdgeSwitch 10XP received 10 ports. Of them, 8 are standard gigabit RG45, with support for power distribution using PoE 24 technology. Another two ports are designed for connection to optical communication lines according to the SFP standard, which, given the widespread distribution of optical fiber and its convenience, is a very popular option.

Each port is equipped with a corresponding LED status indicator. This means that you can visually determine the presence / absence of a connection, the activity of traffic passing and whether PoE is sounding. The unified interface of Ubiquiti Networks Management Systems (UNMS) for management is also important. After all, it allows the EdgeSwitch-10XP switch to be integrated into the general Ubiquiti device management system. This will make it as easy as possible to set up, control statistical information and receive work reports.

The UBNT ES-10XP switch can be installed on a table and special rubber stands are provided for this purpose, or it can be installed in a server rack. For installation in a rack, a mounting bar is required, which is designed to fix the switch in the 1U slot.

Configuring the device is done using the friendly interface of the Ubiquiti Network Management System. The convenience of EdgeMAX centralized management cannot be overstated. Using the ER-RMKIT (sold separately), the EdgeSwitch 10XP conveniently mounts in a standard rack. The fact that passive cooling is used makes the operation of the switch silent and 50% more economical than previous models.
