The DGS-3130-30TS switch is intended for use in enterprise and Metro Ethernet networks, as well as for users who need a high level of network security and maximum performance. The switch is equipped with a connector for connecting an external backup power source DPS-500A2, which allows you to ensure continuous operation of the device. The DGS-3130-30TS supports Spanning Tree Protocols (STP) (802.1D, 802.1w and 802.1s), Loopback Detection and Broadcast Storm Protection functions, which increase network fault tolerance. In addition, the DGS-3130-30TS supports Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) technology, which ensures a minimum ring recovery time (50 ms) after a failure. To distribute the load and increase fault tolerance when using several switches, the DGS-3130-30TS allows you to use the Dynamic 802.3ad Link Aggregation Port Trunking function.
