D-Link DGS-1210-20 / ME / A 2-level network switch with 16 10/100 / 1000Base-T ports and 4 1000Base-X SFP ports. Static electricity protection provides resistance to voltage fluctuations, and a full set of security and authentication functions protects the network from internal and external threats.
High performance. The DGS-1210 / ME series switches are equipped with 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, providing the highest network performance. All models in the series are equipped with SFP ports, in addition, the DGS-1210-28P / ME switch is equipped with Roe-enabled ports, which allow you to place network devices, for example, Roe IP cameras, in places where electrical outlets are not available. To do this, simply connect an Ethernet cable to the PoE devices, which will transmit not only data, but also power.
Fault tolerance / High performance. DGS-1210 / ME series switches support Spanning Tree (STP) protocols: 802.1D-2004 edition, 802.1w and 802.1s. STP protocols allow you to organize a backup data transmission route, which is used in the event of a switch failure. Switches also support 802.3ad channel aggregation, which provides grouping of several ports and, as a result, increased bandwidth and increased fault tolerance of connections. These models support the 802.1p standard for managing the quality of service (QoS), which allows you to classify traffic in real time into 8 queues using mechanisms of strict priority processing and Weighted Round Robin (WRR).
Traffic and Bandwidth Management. The Bandwidth Management feature allows network administrators to define bandwidth per port in increments of up to 64Kbps for incoming traffic. The DGS-1210 / ME series switches also support the broadcast storm protection function, which minimizes the possibility of virus attacks on the network. Port mirroring simplifies traffic diagnostics and helps administrators monitor switch performance and modify it as needed.
