D-Link DGS-1100-08V2 network switch

The EasySmart DGS-1100-08V2 series switch is configurable, equipped with 8 10/100 / 1000Base-T ports, designed for use in networks of small and medium-sized businesses. D-Link Green energy-saving technology

The DGS-1100-08V2 switch complies with the IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet standard and consumes less electricity with a small amount of traffic. The use of EEE-compatible devices allows small and medium-sized businesses to save money by reducing operational costs, including those related to the purchase of cooling equipment. The DGS-1100-08V2 also supports D-Link Green technology, which automatically reduces power consumption. The switch determines the connection status on each port and ensures automatic power-off of inactive ports.

Simple management

The DGS-1100-08V2 switch supports management using the special utility D-Link Network Assistant, as well as through the Web interface. The utility allows you to detect D-Link Smart series switches that belong to the same L2 network segment, which simplifies the initial installation of the switch. Advanced configuration and basic settings of detected devices, such as password change and software update, are available to the administrator. A convenient Web interface provides network administrators with the ability to manage the switch at the port level. The interface is available through a Web browser and allows you to control the operation of the switch from any computer connected to the network.

VLAN surveillance and bandwidth management

The DGS-1100-08V2 switch supports Surveillance VLAN technology for the deployment of video surveillance systems. This functionality allocates video traffic to a separate VLAN, within which the highest service priority is assigned to it. Surveillance VLAN support ensures high-quality transmission and protection of video traffic and allows you to reduce costs associated with the purchase of additional equipment.
