D-Link DES-3200-28 network switch

D-Link DES-3200-28 network switch is a level 2 managed switch with 24 10/100BASE-TX ports + 4 1000Base-T/SFP combo ports.

DES-3200 switches are included in the line of D-Link level 2 xStack managed switches designed for Metro Ethernet networks (ETTX and FTTX). The switches are equipped with 8/16/24 100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports, as well as 2/4 Gigabit Ethernet/SFP combo ports.

The DES-3200 series switches support 802.1X access control based on ports/MAC addresses, Guest VLAN, as well as RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication for direct network access control. The IP-MAC-Port Binding function provides binding of the source IP address to the corresponding MAC address for a specific port number, facilitating the extension of access control. Moreover, thanks to the DHCP Snooping function, the switch automatically determines pairs of IP/MAC addresses by monitoring DHCP packets and storing them in the IMPB "white" list.

The DES-3200 series switches support the IGMP Snooping function to reduce multicast traffic and optimize network performance. MLD snooping minimizes IPv6 multicast packets at the port level to conserve network bandwidth.
