D-Link DES-1005D network switch

D-Link DES-1005D is an unmanaged switch designed to improve the productivity of a small group of users while providing a high level of flexibility. Powerful yet easy to use, the DES-1005D allows users to effortlessly connect 10Mbps or 100Mbps network equipment to any port, reducing response time and meeting high network bandwidth needs.

The switch is equipped with 5 10/100Mbps ports, allowing a small workgroup to connect flexibly to Ethernet and Fast Ethernet networks, as well as integrate them. This is achieved due to the property of the ports to automatically determine the network speed, to agree on the 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards, as well as the half/full duplex transmission mode.

The switch can be used to connect computers directly, as it has a low connection cost per port. This prevents the possibility of "bottlenecks" by giving each computer on the network dedicated bandwidth.
