Principle of operation

The Tecsar Alert P-74250 infrared barrier consists of two parts: a receiver and an infrared (IR) signal transmitter. In the protected area, the receiver and transmitter are located opposite each other. In this way, an invisible IR barrier is formed. When a person crosses such a barrier, the IR rays are interrupted, after which the barrier sends an alarm signal to the central security alarm unit. It is often used to protect the perimeters of private houses, cottages, construction sites, window openings, etc.
