Principle of operation

Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor wireless two-way street motion sensor allows you to detect intrusion into the protected area. The sensor is immune to animals up to 80 cm tall, does not react to swaying branches or leaves, the presence of birds or insects does not cause false alarms. Also, the sensor is protected from unauthorized exposure (hanging, painting, varnishing), works at a temperature below 0 ° C, protected from splashes and dust, the range of operation is adjustable (up to 30 meters). Every living being, including man, is a source of IR radiation. The sensor is equipped with two independent passive IR sensors. The obtained data are checked using the two-factor ELSA algorithm: detection of similarities between signals from both sensors, as well as spectral images. This makes it possible to avoid false alarms, and also allows you to adjust the range of the sensor (up to 30 meters, 15 meters in each direction).

The sensor is easy to install and configure without special knowledge: mounting on the SmartBracket is convenient and will not harm the repair, connection to the central unit is made through the mobile application in literally one click. The device is ready to work out of the box, even the battery is installed.

The sensor works only with the Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus and the ReX repeater. Connection to the Hub and ocBridge Plus and uartBridge integration modules are not provided!
