Autofeeder - a device for automatic feeding of original sheets for scanning or copying. There are two types of automatic feeders: one-sided, for automatic scanning of originals from one side only; double-sided, for automatic scanning of originals from both sides.

In turn, two-way feeders are divided into reversible (RSPF) and one-pass (DSPF). A reversible feeder physically flips the document when scanning the reverse side, while a one-pass feeder scans both sides at the same time. A device equipped with a single-pass automatic feeder will cost more than any other due to an additional element that scans the back of the sheet.
