Human Body Sensor is an intelligent motion detection sensor from Xiaomi Aqara that works with the MiHome smart home system and is controlled by the Xiaomi Aqara Hub central module. You will be able to use this and other sensors from Xiaomi Aqara together with Apple HomeKit, fully automating all processes in your home. Thanks to its small size, you can install it in any comfortable place, and also use it in connection with other similar motion sensors. Work in the Apple HomeKit system is possible with the presence of the Xiaomi Aqara Hub smart home control module. 

Thoughtful construction

The sensor body comes with a special base and adhesive stickers that allow you to install it horizontally, for example, on a table or bedside table, vertically on a wall or by attaching it to the ceiling. In addition, you can adjust the viewing angle of the Human Body Sensor yourself by fixing it in the desired position using a special hinge. 

Principle of work

The motion sensor from Xiaomi Aqara is based on the work of a built-in infrared sensor, which uses thermal radiation to determine who is in the room at the current moment - a person or an animal. Additional polyolefin optical lenses and UV-protected sensor housing improve motion detection accuracy. 

Works in conjunction with other Xiaomi Aqara sensors

This sensor is part of a smart home and after installation can work in conjunction with its other sensors or devices according to programmed scenarios. For example, you can set the lights to automatically turn off in the room after a long absence of any movement in it. In addition, thanks to the built-in light intensity tracking sensor, it is able to automatically determine the change in the brightness of the lighting in the room and "report" this to other sensors. 

Installation:

Add the Aqara Human Body Sensor to the MiHome app Hold the Reset button on the sensor for three seconds until the indicator light turns blue 3 times.
