Rakel, cleaning blade (Wiper blade) is a flat metal scraper with a polyurethane tip, intended for cleaning the photodrum of a laser cartridge from microparticles of toner and paper stuck to it. The service life of the photo drum depends on the condition of the squeegee, since the squeegee has direct contact with it during printing. The main defects are bends and scratches on the surface of the squeegee.
