Power supply unit Qdion 400W (QD400)

The Qdion 400W power supply unit (QD400 (by FSP group)) is a high-quality, low-noise power supply designed for supplying computer nodes with electrical energy. Its task includes the conversion of the mains voltage to the set values, their stabilization and protection against minor disturbances of the supply voltage.

The unit is equipped with a cooler, which, thanks to its increased size (12 cm) and lower rotation frequency, effectively cools the PSU and at the same time remains quiet.

The main parameter of the computer power supply unit is the maximum power delivered to the load. In Qdion 400W (QD400 (by FSP group)), it is 400W, which will provide power to all elements of the entry-level system.

Qdion 400W uses a passive type of power factor correction (Power Factor Correction, PFC). Passive PFC is simple and therefore reliable, it is an ordinary choke with a relatively large inductance connected to the network in series with the power supply unit.
