The maintenance-free rechargeable battery Ritar AGM RT1232, 12V-3.2Ah (RT1232) is manufactured using AGM technology (the electrolyte is absorbed in a special porous separator). AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) stands for absorbent glass mat. In fact, it is a common fiberglass sandwiched between the positive and negative lead plates. The electrolyte is in a "bound" state in this glass fabric. Due to the fact that the electrolyte is in a bound state, it is possible to operate the batteries in any position (for example, on the side).
