The Vention CAT5E FTP Patch Cable is a fully approved system standard CAT5E Shielded Twisted Pair (FTP) cable. It is designed specifically for gigabit Ethernet applications (gigabit cable over copper). It provides high data transfer speed and works with any gigabit devices. These cables offer improved performance over standard Cat5 cables. The conductors are connected to gold-plated RJ45 plugs according to the TIA/EIA 568B standard. The shielded construction of this CAT5 cable includes a common steel braid; fully shielded metal connectors have gold-plated RJ45 contacts and a molded strain relief housing.
